The Roscoes celebrate the old school rock n roll romance of a four-piece guitar band, whilst combining a mix of Soul, Funk, Blues, and Country to create an eloquently catchy and powerfully satisfying sound.   Influences range from soul greats like Otis Redding to rock legends including led Zeppelin and alternative pioneers like The Pixies.

They're lead by the dynamic vocal talents of Edd Barlow who is backed up by the exhilarating guitar riffs of Bill Gelling, funky bass lines of Jim Cudworth and hitting up the rear the energetic and curly Brad Malbon. The four lads met during their time at the University of Liverpool in between drinking and chatting up lectures. In 2013 The Roscoes released their debut EP 'Start Again·and in 2014 released the single when He Gets You Down· to critical acclaim. They received lots of air play from BBC lntroducing’s Dave Monks and including being on Tom Robinson’s Fresh On The Net. In February 2015 they released their new single, the riff-laden blues rock track, closer·, produced by Mario Leal.  Their latest single, Skin / The Wall, released in March 2016, produced by Pete Robertson from The Vaccines has received rave reviews. They have been touring it round the UK wowing audiences with their electric.

Fans of The Roscoes include Pete Robertson from The Vaccines and Dave O’Grady. Their live performances are electrifying with the energy and passion with which they perform their music. Their gigs have always been packed and they are famed for their onstage antics. With past gigs for Popped Music, Dave Monks Introduce and Threshold Festival they’re not a band to miss.
