The Indians Next Door

ArtForm: Food

The Indians Next Door are basically the neighbours you always wished you had!

The family's journey begins back in the 1920s when their great grandparents migrated from Moti Kardrod in India in the state of Gujarat to Kenya.   With them they took their rich culture and food.

In Kenya, the recipes from Kenyan and Punjabi cuisine was infused to create a fusion of dishes of original cooking.  These recipes and the passion for cooking have been passed down the family as part of its rich history.

The food is flavoursome food, using fresh ingredients and made with loads of love.

Luckily you don’t actually have to live next door to them to enjoy their warm hospitality and amazing home-cooked Indian food and you can find them serving up their slow cooked lamb raan or dry chicken masala, raita and salad, homemade chicken and vegetarian curries all made from the freshest ingredients and served with their very own secret-recipe naan bread, baked onsite and guaranteed to melt in your mouth!
