Pop up screens, flyers, business cards and squeezy guitar shaped stress balls – the essential Robertson Taylor tour kit is packed and we are ready!
We relish the opportunity to get to meet and chat with new bands, artists, managers and songwriters and City Showcase was the perfect forum for this. Every one in every part of the music industry will need some form of insurance at some point and, since 1977, our mission is to be there to help and advise when they do.
We spent the first week of City Showcase popping into the hub and in and out of various stores to see gigs meet bands and chat with them and their mangers.
The second week focused on the extremely well attended and interesting seminars and panel discussions. With the opportunity to talk directly to the attendees and explain about some of basic insurance needs – musical equipment and public liability – this is what we do best.
From the questions on the day and emails following the event it is apparent that there is a hunger for knowledge and an ambition to succeed from everyone that we encountered at City Showcase 2011.
A wonderful platform for Robertson Taylor to help educate and advise new talent and a perfect way to showcase our brand, our experience and our dedication to the emerging talent sector of the music industry.
