With a sizable live room, capable of accommodating almost any musical situation, and an acoustically separate control room the Fuel Tank can give you any sound you want.

We are dedicated to getting you the sound you want. Whether you want us to produce your album or you want to track a drum take, we will take care of it.

Our philosophy has always been to get the best results using all the available equipment. The Fuel Tank utilises a wide variety of gear. To enable us to produce the widely desired ‘warm’ sound we use lots of valve equipment. It has long been said that valves (AKA vacuum tubes) are essential in producing a nice sounding record.

We strive to make BIG sounds. Huge drums, booming bass guitars and chunky rhythm guitars.
 
We have a 24 channel Soundcraft analogue desk, Nuendo DAW, TL Audio valve outboard and an 8 track reel to reel plus lots of mics from vintage ribbon to modern condensors/dynamics.  Theres a great live room with a brilliant live drum sound and use of kit, amps and complimentary tea making facilities..in my kitchen!
