We're really excited that City Showcase is being held in Napier from 25-28 November 2010. Check out our listings below...
New and emerging musicians have been given the opportunity to perform at gigs, alongside slightly more established acts, in and around Napier's fab Art Deco city centre including in bars, cafes, boutiques and bookshops. Some great daytime gigs at 3 Sixty, Aroha & Friends, Beattie & Forbes, Cafe DMP, Jay Jays, Just Jeans, Kingpin, Statements Gallery, The Music Machine, The Tennyson, Zigg Zagg Cafe - with many venues offering discounts to wristband holders!
Evening gigs at the War Memorial Conference Centre, Waiapu Cathedral of St John the Evangelist, Kazba, The Cabana and Sideline Bar. We also have a Jagermeister Bus popping up in the area!
All selected performers will perform over the three days (25, 26 and 27 November 2010) in various venues across Napier and you will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite acts who will then perform on 28th November at the SoundShell (Sunday at the Soundshell) at Finding The Future - in front of a panel of specialists. The winner of City Showcase: Finding the Future will win a trip to perform at City Showcase 2011 in London. CLICK HERE TO GET VOTING NUMBERS
