Triumph Brass is a brass quintet made up of students from the Royal College of Music. Having formed in 2008 they have already gained a great reputation as an entertaining group with a diverse repertoire. Triumph Brass have performed at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Charlton House, Regent Hall and Cadogan Hall as well as giving concerts and recitals all over the UK. The individual members of the quintet are kept busy as students of the RCM and as professional musicians in the UK's top orchestras such as The Philharmonia, London Sinfonietta, The Gabrieli Consort and The London Mozart Players, as well as bands and shows such as West Side Story, Brass Monkey and the Hoosiers. Triumph Brass play an active role in the community, participating in education and outreach projects in a variety of schools and local music organisations. This gives people of all ages the opportunity to explore brass instruments, and the music that they are commonly heard in. Most notably, the group recently toured to Trinidad and Tobago as part of The Commonwealth Resounds, leading workshops and giving masterclasses to aspiring young musicians.
