aka Denis Fernando has played the piano all his life, composing and performing along the way. He performs contemporary classical music that mixes intensely personal sounds with social motifs. His music has been described as cinematic, haunting and evocative. This is typified by recent single prelude to the nocturne which has received airplay by Alan Titchmarsh on Radio 2. Denis is a passionate campaigner for social justice and sees music an effective way of bringing together our evolving, diverse society. Last summer Denis filmed the video for his single on the street pianos that were set up across London by the artist Luke Jerram. Biog as for City Showcase 2010
