LOKANDES, is the combination of two words: 'Crazy' and 'Andes' which represents the intention of our music - crazy music from the Andes -. This project was started in London, during December 2007, by Karlos Saldaña and Alex Alfaro. This project aims to create Alternative music with roots from traditional Andean music. In 2009, LOKANDES entered its second phase under the new name 'LOKANDES PROJECT' as well as completing the band line up with musicians from different parts of the world.
