Jean Genie a.k.a Jean Graham:-
A one woman POWERHOUSE!
Spreading positive vibes and sharing her wide knowledge of music, she invites listeners to open their ears and their minds.  Djing music from various genres, including everything from: Rock; Indie, Punk, Ska, Old Skool Hip Hop, Trip Hop, Funk, Jazz, Electro and 60’s Psychedelia.
Renowned for her fun filled Panda~Power! events, held monthly at The Social, playing host to a plethora of emerging and well known artists (Pete Docherty has even fallen in love with the event! All in all a good excuse to party!
Currently a broadcast assistant at XFM, to John Kennedy, Jean Genie loves listening to new music and going out to live events.  A creative freelance music journalist, Jean Genie has written for the likes of Artrocker, The local Guardian and the legendary Croydon based, Record store Beanos’ ‘B-News’.
Jean Genie also has a radio show on koobaradio.co.uk, showcasing talent from all over the many music scenes which take place throughout the land, and co-presents ‘Is Black Music?’ on 104.4 Resonance FM with Bohemian Afro Dave and Art Terry and is soon to launch her tasty new show “Jean Genie’s Candy Box’ as a monthly podcast via her personal blog.
